What's New in Project Dream - 2026 August
Project Dream

Humay Hasanova
Here is what is new in Project Dream this month: Canvas spaces for working on an infinite canvas with your team, a new Photoshop panel, masking and annotation tools in Edit image, two new Flow Graph nodes, and new models across video, image editing, 3D and audio.
Canvas spaces
Work on an infinite canvas together with your team, with Dream's Edit image and Creative upscale engines built right in. Generate, refine and upscale side by side, without exporting anything or switching tabs.

New Photoshop plugin interface
This release brings a brand new Photoshop panel, so you can generate images without ever leaving Photoshop. It comes with Prompt, Instruct, Generate and Upscale modes, a model picker, and your choice of 1, 2 or 4 versions per run.
Now you can use Dream directly inside Photoshop, without leaving the app!

Masking, Drawing and Annotations
You can now draw and annotate on top of your images, then send them straight to the models in Edit image (Nano Banana, Seedream 5.0 Pro and GPT Image Edit 2.0).
Masking - Dream crops around your mask, sends only that area to the model, then pastes the result back onto your original image. Your input resolution stays exactly as it was.

Drawing and annotating - sketch, circle something, add an arrow, write a note. Whatever you put on the image becomes direction for the model. Area cropping is available here too.

GraphFlow updates
Image Comparer node
Compare any two images with Dream's own comparison interface, right inside your graph.

LLM Node
Direct an LLM to rewrite your prompts however you like. It can look at your connected image too.

Masking, drawing and annotating
Available inside Flow Graph as well, not just in Edit image.

New models
Video models:
Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance): generates up to 30 seconds of video in a single native pass with audio created in the same run, and takes as many as 50 image, video and audio references per generation.
Flux 3 (Black Forest Labs): the first FLUX model to do video, producing clips up to 20 seconds long with native synced audio from text, a still image or reference images.
MiniMax H3 (Hailuo 3.0): reads text, images, video and audio as one context and returns 4 to 15 second clips at up to 2K with native stereo sound, plus edits you can ask for in a sentence.
Gemini Omni Flash (Google): built for fast video generation with audio, and for refining what it just made through follow-up instructions instead of re-prompting from scratch.
Kling O3 Pro 4K (Kuaishou): Kling's premium O3 tier with native 4K output, so you get delivery resolution without a separate upscale step, at 3 to 15 seconds with optional synced sound.
LTX-2.5 (Lightricks): an open weights audio and video model that renders picture and synced sound in a single pass, and it is fast, turning a still into a 10 second clip in under seven seconds on top end Nvidia hardware.
Edit image:
Seedream 5.0 Pro: ByteDance's pro tier image model, tuned for design work with region precise editing, dense layouts and strong multilingual text rendering.
Seedream 5.0 Pro Layer Separation: splits a single image into a stack of editable transparent layers (subject, text, background, props) and inpaints whatever was hidden behind them, so every layer comes back as a usable asset.
Grok Imagine Image 2.0 (xAI): built around editing rather than one shot generation, with magic wand edits that change only the region you point at, segmentation, background removal, up to five reference images per run and smart resize across aspect ratios.
Image to 3D:
Hitem3D 2.1: turns one to four photos into high resolution watertight meshes, up to 1536³ geometry and 2 million faces, which makes it a solid pick for detail heavy assets and printing.
Meshy 7: Meshy's new image to 3D foundation model, tuned so the geometry it returns actually agrees with the reference image you gave it, right down to fine surface detail.
Video to Audio (Audio Generation):
Sonilo 1.1: reads the pacing, structure and mood of your clip and writes an original soundtrack that matches its length, trained on professionally licensed catalogues and cleared for commercial use.
Plugin Updates
We added support for Revit 2027 and Blender 5.2, and cleared out several plugin loading issues. Revit and Photoshop plugins now load reliably after installing the app, and the SketchUp plugin works correctly even with multiple host applications running.

That is everything from August. Open up Project Dream and try them out, and we would love to see what you make.
