The results are in! The Re: Novation ArchViz 3D Challenge by 3DModels.org has wrapped up, and we're thrilled to have been a sponsor once again.
Over 70 artists took on the challenge: start with the same base building model and transform it into something entirely their own. The creativity on display was incredible, and the winning entries really raised the bar.
The Winners
1st Place: "The Last Bearer" by Sławomir Wolski
A fantasy scene where the base building sits on the back of a stone giant marching through a mountain landscape. The jury praised its originality and storytelling, and it also took home the Community Choice Award. Tools used: 3ds Max, Corona, Photoshop, ZBrush.

"The Last Bearer" by Sławomir Wolski
2nd Place: "Grandma's Dai Pai Dong" by Hoang Nguyen
A warm, emotional scene inspired by 1990s Hong Kong street life, where the building becomes a cozy food stall glowing against a cold cityscape. The jury highlighted its beautiful lighting and visual storytelling. Tools used: Blender, After Effects, Photoshop.

"Grandma's Dai Pai Dong" by Hoang Nguyen
3rd Place: "Cyber Europe 2060" by Phillip Marques Schmidt
A cyberpunk vision of a futuristic European city where AI-driven technology slowly overtakes heritage architecture. Packed with detail and atmosphere. Tools used: 3ds Max, Corona Render, Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter.

"Cyber Europe 2060" by Phillip Marques Schmidt
Animation Category: "6 Days of Renovation Work" by Jaycarlo Baalam Gecana
A fun take on the challenge: the artist downloaded the base model just 6 days before the deadline and portrayed what could realistically be done in that time. Tools used: Twinmotion, 3ds Max, Filmora.
Our Contribution
We contributed prizes across all four categories. Each winner received a RenderFlow license, a Scene Manager license, and 2,000 Pulze credits usable for Project Dream or RenderFlow Cloud. Our Technical Artist and Developer, Chris, also served on the jury panel, helping evaluate entries alongside 30+ other industry professionals.
